The German Federal Network registered a new photovoltaic system of approximately 418.6 MW in February. Of these, 386.8 MW is used for projects outside the tendering program for 750 kW or more installed capacity in the country, and many projects may be large rooftop PV arrays ranging from 40 kW to 750 kW. Behind it is the impact of FIT reduction since February this year.
In the first two months of this year alone, Germany added nearly 1 GW of solar energy, bringing its cumulative installed capacity to about 46.9 GW at the end of February.
April is the final stage of the significant reduction in the FIT of the rooftop PV system launched by the German government at the end of 2018, ranging from 40 kW to 750 kW.
From April 1st, the value of direct marketing will fall to 0.0890 euros / kWh, while the small photovoltaic system is 0.1151 euros / kWh, and the other system is 0.0808 cents per kWh. The same fixed FIT is further reduced, for PV systems up to 10 kW, set at 0.1111 EUR/kWh; for systems with up to 40 kW, set at 0.1081 EUR/kWh; for equipment up to 100 kW, set Set at 0.0850 EUR / kWh. For installations above 100 kW, it is necessary for the PV system to be directly marketed.
On May 1, the Federal Network Office will release new rates for the next three months. Taking into account the rapid growth in the first two months of this year, the reduction in fluctuations may rise from the current 1.0% to 1.4%.
